The NCDEA
would like to provide conservation district employees with opportunities
that will enhance your current skills and knowledge, along with providing
you information about the ever changing ways to conserve natural resources.
The opportunity part of this site, is for you - the conservation district
employee. This is where you will learn what conservation job opportunities
are out there, as well as training sessions, conferences, seminars and
demonstrations are taking place.
If there is a training opportunity or a job opening with a conservation
district, we would like to put it here on the website. Please submit your
information to us.
Employment Opportunities
State
Associations or local conservation districts are welcome to post job
employment opportunites here. To post an opening, please email the
announcement to
Rich Duesterhaus in an MS-Word document or send him a link if it is
already posted on a website.

Idaho Association of Conservation Districts
Seeks Executive Director
Job Summary: The Executive Director of the Idaho Association of
Conservation Districts (IASCD) is responsible for all Association business,
activities, programs, and employees and is accountable to the Board of
Directors of the IASCD. General areas of responsibility outlined below
include relations with the 51 soil conservation districts, government agency
relations, public relations and other entities identified as conservation
partners. Primary areas of responsibility include: District information and
education, grant writing, association management, financial coordination,

or organization have an event coming up that would be a learning opportunity
for other conservation district employees? Let us know about it.
It could be a field day, expo, conference or certification class - a chance
to gain more knowledge about the natural resources that conservation
district employees are working to protect everyday. Each day is a chance to
learn - submit your information to
Rich Duesterhaus, Executive Director for NCDEA. If at all possible,
please submit your information at least 1 month in advance so that there is
time to get it posted to the website.
